  • Dualing Red Epic cameras on Beacon Point

    IMG_9790

We were fortunate enough to have two Red Epic cameras on Beacon Point. This has been a huge advantage, very evident now that we are in the editing phase. Having double coverage of every scene gives us so many more options. It’s really crucial. I couldn’t imagine not having two cameras. We were also very fortunate to have such an amazing crew and camera department. The cinematography is great! This is going to be an awesome movie. Stay tuned!

  • THAT’S A WRAP!

BP - WrapPrincipal photography has been completed for Beacon Point. This is a huge accomplishment and takes us one step closer to completing the movie. We will begin editing soon. It’s going to be a ton of work for me and Scott, but I love editing so I am excited.

The shoot was amazing. The performances are fantastic, the cinematography is great and the overall look and feel is perfect for the movie. We got a lot of bang for our buck. I want to try to have a trailer for Beacon Point in the near future to begin marketing the movie and getting some buzz going. Thanks a million to the cast and crew for their hard work, dedication and passion. It could never have happened without you!

We are going to have an awesome movie!

  • Cinestar Copter Cam to Fly at Beacon Point

The Beacon Point team has secured a CineStar copter cam during production of the movie. The drone helicopter will fly a camera to pull off amazing shots and angles that could never before be imagined. The remote control copter will carry a RED Epic and/or a Canon 5D and will give us the ability to get amazing overhead shots, scenic vistas, and incredible tracking shots of our actors. We are very excited to have this tool in our arsenal. We begin shooting July 15th!
